Description
USB Type C to HDMI, DVI and VGA
This is a Type-C to DVI, HDMI and VGA Adapter. It allows you to transmit signals from a Type-C source to a high definition DVI or HDMI or VGA display (TV sets, projectors, etc). It can work on Macbook or Google new Chromebook Pixel and other USB-C supported devices.
Note: If two or three of the outputs are connected, then only one output can receive the input signal, the priority sequence is: DVI, HDMI, VGA
Windows: Display connection might be limited
If you plug in your USB3C-HDV02 hardware unit into your Windows PC and receive a notification like the one below, we recommend checking that your USB-C port is compatible with USB-C DisplayPort Alternate mode.
Display connection might be limited
Make sure the DisplayPort device you're connecting to is supported by your PC. Select this message for more troubleshooting info.
This notification will appear if your PC detects USB-C hardware using DisplayPort alternate mode is plugged into a port that does not support this mode. USB3C-HDV02 requires a port that supports either Thunderbolt or DisplayPort alternate mode, so not all USB-C ports are compatible.
For example, here is a list of some Dell/Alienware computers whose USB-C ports do not support displays.
If USB3C-HDV02 is not able to connect when the USB3C-HDV02 hardware is plugged into this port, then it is possible that the USB3C-HDV02 hardware is not supported in your PC's USB-C port. Please note that the USB3C-HDV02 hardware should be plugged into your GPU, so it can leverage the power of your PC's GPU for graphics acceleration, so USB-C ports on motherboards will likely not work.
Here is the Windows support article for more information on this USB-C notification.
